February 1st 2007 The VP2020 digital ink jet printer which provides colour printing for all types of package labels can reduce supply chain errors according to its new UK and Ireland distributor, Sunala. Powered by Hewlett- Packard technology, the VP2020 prints full colour rollfed labels and tags at 600 dpi resolution, with speeds of up to 50 per minute. Users can print labels one at a time or generate rolls with variable content including bar codes and serial numbers. This flexibility makes the printer ideal for the fastchanging requirements of industrial and retail supply chains. The VP2020 can print variable content such as bar codes, serial numbers and/or colour codes with crisp, vibrant images from Window-based applications and high speed ethernet and USB are standard.
