Remote service module for print & apply October 1st 2004 Representing what is said to be a major breakthrough in the area of machine servicing and support, Logopak has developed a Remote Service Module for installation in all Logopak systems, including LEAP, LEAP Hybrid and iLEAP642 controls.
Assisting in the early identification and remote resolution of production site problems, the module provides remote access to the machine controller via a standard incoming analogue telephone line.
Logopak is looking at this as the first stage in a process of total remote connection to print & apply labelling systems for the purpose of modifying label data and layout changes. It also allows the resetting of machine speeds and the changing of scanner functionality and other service items by trained technicians.
The RSM complements the plug-in Internet module for the Can-Bus controllers used in the iLEAP642 range. More articles from Logopak International Ltd: |
