Saucy solution April 1st 2007 Suffolk Saucery has purchased a Graham RF120 tamper banding machine and turned to Graham Engineering to refurbish it. Graham also added a conveyor, a material shrink tunnel and a Commander 200-25 self-adhesive label applicator to apply front and back labels. The updated model includes change parts for six container sizes, these are spaced by a pitching wheel which is fed in by a rotary table. The Commander 200-25 applies the two labels, the clear tamper band is applied by the RF120 and then shrunk into place. "We are very happy with the system, it is working very well indeed," commented Suffolk Saucery production director, Peter Kerr. "We found the system easy to set up and size change, and it has proved very reliable." More articles from Graham Engineering (Essex) Ltd: |
