Two-sided thermal printer
August 1st 2011 Toshiba TEC launched the DBEA4D,
a 2 sided direct thermal label
printer. The first of a new series, the
DB-EA4D can print directly onto a
label's backing paper, thus increasing
usability without effecting
functionality.
The company says: "Not only does
the printer add value, but
importantly, it reduces waste and is
ideal for applications requiring dual
output, providing an efficient
alternative to single sided solutions -
perfect for the manufacturing
industry and confined retail and
logistical environments."
It prints using two thermal heads
to simultaneously print on the front
and back of direct thermal labels,
eliminating waste and reducing
