RFID demo labs launched

Manhattan Associates has opened five RFID demonstration labs across its key European markets in a bid to show its clients exactly what its technology can do for their products.

Opening in Paris, Sophia Antipolis (France) Munich, Utrecht and Bracknell (UK), the labs will showcase its awardwinning RFID in a Box solution in a representative customer environment, giving companies an opportunity to latest RFID developments and an understanding of how to deploy and benefit from the technology.

Suppliers will learn how to meet RFID-compliance mandates including those issued by Metro, Tesco and Wal-Mart.

Live demos will show how to deploy RFID tags and smart labels in conjunction with a WMS to enable information on pallets, cases and items to be automatically captured – automating operations such as loading and receiving. The labs will also demonstrate how RFID enhances supply chain visibility and security.
