Bluetooth RF laser scanner

Extending its range of barcode readers featuring Bluetooth RF connectivity, Opticon has launched the OPL 7724 hand held laser gun. Capable of communicating over a range of up to 40m to another Bluetooth enabled device, the scanner is also equipped with back up memory for scanning out of range. Collected barcodes are then transmitted when RF communication is re-established.

Applying Bluetooth technology to a hand held laser gun provides the user with a straightforward, reliable and very secure way of providing data to the host application without the need for cables.
