Available from DED, the Metrologic OptimusR series of data collection terminals provide an integrated single line barcode scanner and a rugged and affordable solution for real time data transfer applications in one.

Its IP rating of 65 makes batch data collection in demanding industrial and warehouse applications possible. The OptimusR quickly and easily uploads and downloads data when placed into its cradle.

Communicating with a PC with USB or RS232C, the OptimusR is supplied as standard with 2MB of data memory. There are also additional memory options of 4MB or 8MB to accommodate larger inventories.

The rechargeable Lithium- Ion battery allows for up to 200 hours of scanning. It has WIFI capability and features real time data transfer technology making instantaneous updates up to 250m away from the host system possible.
