Fast and accurate scanning

Barcode solutions specialist, Unique ID, has won a contract for barcode scanners from major logistics company, ANC. The scanners are HHPs IMAGETEAM 4800s, chosen for the speed and consistency with which they can decode PDF417 barcodes.

ANC specialises in express delivery services throughout world. Previously, data on the consignments without a customer manifest had to be entered manually, which was very time consuming. ANC therefore looked for scanners that could scan the PDF417 code on the label attached to each consignment.
