Single flash scans barcodes

Metrologic Focus industrial
grade area imager increases
productivity by scanning all
standard 1D and 2D
barcodes on the first flash.
The IP54-rated omi
directional scanner is
engineered to withstand a
2m drop, and tolerates
exposure to dust and
splashing water. The
Metrologic Focus reads
damaged codes or codes
wrapped in clear plastic,
decoding all standard bar
codes in a single flash. Code
Select technology allows the
imager to capture seven
barcodes in one flash and
then decode them in any
predetermined order.
Also available with the
Metrologic Focus is Total
Freedom, an open system
architecture. This can
develop custom application
modules embedded directly
into the imager instead of
the host system. For imagecapture
applications, the
Focus combines a highresolution
CMOS sensor with
