Chosen for web work October 1st 2007 Gomez, known for its web

management, has been
selected by Premier Farnell,
global distributor of
electronic components and
industrial products to the
design, maintenance and
engineering sectors, as its
partner of choice for web
performance management.
Premier Farnell markets
and distributes more than
400 000 products across
Europe, North America and
Asia Pacific through its
Farnell, Newark and
Premier Electronics brands.
It has a multi-channel
strategy including fully
transactional websites,
contact centres, field sales
force, trade counters,
branch network, catalogues
and direct mail.
Following Harriet Green's
appointment as CEO in
April 2006, Premier Farnell
carried out a review of its
business. A key part of its
strategy was to enhance its
already successful web and
e-commerce platform.
Premier Farnell will be
using the Gomez

test, monitor, manage and
optimise the performance
of its web sites to deliver a
high quality web experience
and to continue to satisfy
customers worldwide.
