Henkel consumer Adhesives (HCA) has chosen Manhattan Associates to develop a fully enabled RFID system for delivering products to its retail customers. The companies will work together to design, source and assemble the hardware and software required to pilot and roll-out a full scale RFID solution.

According to Manhattan Associates, RFID compliance is now one of the highest priority issues facing consumer goods organisations. Recent announcements from Wal-Mart and anticipation of future announcements from other retailers are the driving force behind HCAs decision to move forward with an RFID solution.

Manhattan Associates has been active in the development of RFID complaint SCE solutions and brings extensive experience to its relationship with HCA, including membership of the Auto-ID Centre and partnerships with several leading RFID vendors.
