Greater storage and loading efficiency

WMS specialist, ATMS, has supplied Iggesund Paperboard with a radio data terminal (RDT) system and wireless infrastructure to enable real time tracking and recording of stock movements, from production through to despatch via third party distributors. The new hardware interfaces directly with Iggesunds existing business software.

Previously the company, which produces packing board, had been using ATMS batch data terminals. These had given great service since 1991, but Iggesund needed to increase storage and loading efficiency by switching to more advanced equipment.

ATMS also supplied barcode verification equipment to enable label quality control.
