Cell for on-board vehicle weighing
February 1st 2004 Providing accurate results in harsh environments with demanding physical parameters, Thames Side-Maywood has introduced the compact VC6600 load cell for total-body on-board vehicle weighing.
A complication of on-board vehicle weighing is that acceleration, braking and cornering forces are present between the chassis and the body of the vehicle. The VC6600 is designed to maintain weighing accuracy despite these extraneous forces. Its double multi-web shear construction is highly resistant to the twisting and side forces involved.
