Handling without a lift truck licence August 1st 2008 The new AC
powered MC10-15
pedestrian/rider
stacker truck
from Yale is
suitable for handling
situations where
counterbalance trucks
are too large. It can
also be used if an
employee without a lift
truck licence,
occasionally needs to
move, lift or stack
a pallet or stillage
in a confined
area. The MC10-
15 can also
operate outside.
Lift capacity is
up to 1.5t and
maximum lift
height (h3) is 5076mm. The
MC10-15 battery powered
counterbalance stacker can
be pedestrian or rider
controlled. The
counterbalance stacker
features Yale AC Technology,
solid state electronic dual
Combi MOSFET controls and
a CANbus communication
system as standard.
The tiller arm has finger tip
controls with four pre-set
drive options and power
assisted steering. Speed is
limited to 4km/h in the
pedestrian mode and
8.5km/h when rider
controlled, with automatic
speed reduction when
cornering.
"With three lift capacities
and a selection of masts, the
MC10-12-15 with AC
Technology, combines the
versatility of a
counterbalance truck, with
the compact dimensions and
low cost of a battery
operated stacker making it
ideal for many smaller
manufacturing and
distribution companies," says
Yale's general manager for
warehouse equipment,
Andrea Lucchi. More articles from Yale Europe Materials Handling: |
