Modular software for June 1st 2007 Keymas has announced the
launch of K-store, a modular
software package that is said
to add a new dimension to
the logistics chain by offering
an affordable system to
manage a warehouse.
The modular design allows
for immediate functional
requirements to be included,
with the flexibility to build
and expand the system as
and when finance and
operational parameters
allow. K-store can trace pallet
locations, quarantine
products, provide real time
pick face locations, stock
rotation and replenishment;
it can be integrated with live
routing and sortation of
cartons and totes on
conveyors. K-store says it has
created much interest with
storage racking and materials
handling equipment
suppliers who can see this as
an added value product,
enabling them to extend
their capabilities and sales
without major investment.
End users who are aware
of the benefits and
efficiencies of computerised
control of warehousing
operations can now consider
investing in K-store , which
could be acquired at
reportedly a third of the price
of WMS currently available
on the market.
