Shear beam load cells upgraded
December 1st 2004 Thames Side-Maywood has launched an upgraded, high spec range of shear beam load cells to replace its VC8600 range. The stainless steel Series 650 load cells for commercial weighing applications are OIML C3 approved and improve on the VC8600 range in terms of both accuracy and cost effectiveness.
The Series 650 is an S beam load cell, which comes in standard capacities of 250, 500, 1000, 2000 and 5000kg. Hermetically sealed for long term stability it offers higher accuracy than its predecessor. It has bi-directional loading capability and can be used in either tension or compression.
