Driving errors down October 1st 2009 Zetes has been awarded a significant
contract by automotive spare parts
supplier, Hella Ireland to integrate its
voice solution with Hella's SAP
driven WMS, to improve operational
effectiveness at its Dublin aftermarket
DC.
Depending on the size of the
goods being handled, several
different picking or replenishment
scenarios exist. All operators are now
equipped with a mobile voice
terminal, which guides them through
these different processes via a realtime
communication between the
host system and the user.
According to Zetes, voice directed
working gives a reduction in errors
of at least 75% and typically achieves
