Soft UK, has announced that Polar Speed
Distribution (UK) has selected 4S eLog to
optimise management of its temperature
controlled, pharmaceutical distribution
warehouses throughout the UK.
Polar Speed is one of the UK's premier
temperature controlled pharmaceutical
distributors and is a UK leader in flu vaccine
distribution.
"After an extensive tender process which
began with ten WMS suppliers, we selected
Four Soft UK as our strategic warehousing
IT partner as we felt its understanding of
our business processes and the proposed
solution was the best fit for our

configurable user interface along with the
in depth stock traceability it offers – which
is essential for our industry."
In addition to the 'real time' information
and barcode scanning technology required
by Polar Speed, Four Soft will also be
interfacing with SAP and Sage100 as part
of the project to allow Polar Speed to
receive orders electronically from
customers.
