Rapid WMS upgrade with rental optionDecember 1st 2007
Sandpiper is providing a replacement management system for Lanxess' UK warehouse operation.
The Click2 solution mirrored the existing functionality of the legacy WMS but incorporates additional enhancements to streamline and optimise information update tasks. It comprises Cisco wireless infrastructure connecting dedicated fork lift truck mounted Datalogic Rhino model computers to the Click2 system. Lanxess is using Sandpiper's FocusID managed per-user-based, inclusive service rental option, which helps companies expedite procurement of AutoID solutions by simplifying project implementation costs.
According to Sandpiper, it enables customers to budget extremely accurately for the duration of the agreement.
