Swisslog’s new WMS

Swisslog has released version 3086 of its WarehouseManager WMS.

Improved functionality includes labour optimisation, cockpit functions and voice picking. Swisslog’s material flow control module for automated warehouses and DCs, AutomationManager, is also fully integrated, with improved performance and flexibility for two main purposes: seamless integration into WarehouseManager; and connectivity to third party WMS.

In addition to all other functionalities, the integration of voice picking gives improved warehouse productivity, whilst achieving picking accuracy of close to 100%, according to Swisslog, which says it’s “addressing the daily challenges of real warehouse managers”.
