WMS for medium size warehouses
April 1st 2005 Birmingham-based ATMS has launched TrackTen – a warehouse management system for small and medium sized warehouses.
ATMS managing director, Stephen Cross says there is strong market demand for low cost but fully fledged system to help company’s optimise the efficiency of their smaller warehouses – typically warehouses in the range of 1,000 to 6,000m2 (10,000 to 60,000 square feet).
“TrackTen addresses this need – providing core WMS functionality but at half the cost of a traditional WMS.” Sold globally through a network of partners, 24/7 help desk support is available.
The system uses touch screen hand held bar code terminals, including equipment from Symbol, Teklogix and Intermec. In less arduous environments standard HP iPAQ-type devices can be used. More articles from ATMS Limited: |
