has transformed its handling
and storage procedures and
saved warehouse space,
thanks to an Aisle-Master
articulated forklift.
Since the electric two
tonne capacity 20SE Aisle-
Master has been in operation,
Alutrade has been able to
install racking in the storage
area compared to the
previous free stacking
system, with a resulting
increase in storage density
in the palletised goods area
of 20%. The forklift's design
means working aisle-widths
can be much narrower, with
no need for large turning
circles. The truck has
excellent visibility from the
cab, a high quality
suspension seat, adjustable
steering column and lack of
rear end swing when
manoeuvering, all of which
contribute to a safe
operating environment.
Aisle-Masters can work in
aisles of 1.75m, with
capacities to two tonnes and
lift heights of up to 11.5m.
Electric and LPG power is
available - all LPG models are
fitted with 3-way catalytic
