Brewery changes to keg clamps December 1st 2005 When Blacksheep Brewery changed from traditional keg handling to using clamps, it decided that the Kaup keg clamp, from B&B Attachments, offered the best specification and life expectancy. Three Kaup keg clamps attached to Mitsubishi forklifts provide Blacksheep Brewery with excellent visibility and a fast, reliable operation.
Blacksheep Brewery has recently invested in a new brewhouse, which will enable it to increase production from 45,000 to 80,000 barrels a year. The three Kaup keg clamps will play an integral part in catering for this expansion, enabling fast and reliable loading and unloading of kegs at the brewery's distribution warehouse in Bedale.
Key to Blacksheep Brewery's decision to purchase the Kaup keg clamps was the fact the Kaup unit is a genuine clamp and is able to pick up 'straight sided kegs', used by the brewery, as well as traditional barrel shapes. More articles from B & B Attachments: |
