freeze, the new Ice Master Towable
Salt Spreader is an axle-driven unit
that can be towed behind a forklift
truck.
Easily attached to any forklift with
a standard ball hitch or towing pin,
the Ice Master can spread salt over a
distance of up to 14m. It has a
volume of 190 litres and includes an
adjustable draw bar giving a choice
of three different height settings.
"As the spreader is mechanically
driven using pneumatic tyres, rather
than requiring an electrical or
auxiliary connection, it is really
quick and easy to set up,"
says Jason Cadman,
technical sales consultant at Contact
Attachments. "It also includes an
agitator to ensure that salt keeps
flowing, and the hopper is fully
sealed from the inside, meaning it is
capable of operating in even the
