Two products from Palway can increase the efficient and safe operation of forklift trucks.

The "Chainweigh" system incorporates loadcells into the lift chain anchor bolts, providing a simple and cost effective way of monitoring loads lifted. Accuracy is typically better than one per cent and offers a low cost solution.

Chainweigh offers the option of acceptable levels of performance at around half the cost of weighing forks.

The Colt system uses specially engineered forks that incorporate two 1t capacity loadcells each, providing a robust platform with very slight increase in weight and lost load centre, minimising impact on truck capacity.

Additionally the Colt scale provides accuracy to better than 1kg/t combined with unaffected visibility for the operator. The opportunity to save time and money by check weighing goods at receiving or shipping without visiting a fixed weigh station is also an advantage of the scale.
