Forklifts become gritters
January 1st 2011

European distributor of SnowEx spreading equipment, Broadwood International, has launched the TLR- 275 mount which is designed to allow any vehicle with a standard towball hitch, including forklifts, to trail a SnowEx salt/grit spreader.

According to Steve James, sales manager at Broadwood: "At a time when operators are looking to reduce costs, the TLR-275 mount increases the usefulness of the fork truck by turning it into a salt spreader using the ball hitch as a mounting point, and the forklift's 12V supply to power the motor." The TLR-275 mount is suitable for use with the SnowEx utility spreaders which are proven in demanding conditions for durability and efficiency.
