Impressive savings

Joloda is reported to have helped reduce fork truck handling costs and trailer turnaround times at the Impress Sutton can manufacturing site in Nottinghamshire.

Three Hydraroll automatic dock loading systems have been installed to load 20 1300 x 1120mm pallets from the dock to the trailer within 90 seconds. Two types of system have been supplied: one slipchain dock and two Trailerskate docks – together with 16 related trailers.

The Hydraroll Slip chain system incorporates pneumatically activated rise and fall chain and roller track, giving high speed pallet accumulation and loading/unloading of full pallet loads. The pallets are automatically transferred from the dock into the trailers, which are also fitted with a Hydraroll slipchain system.
