New system prevents fork wear
October 1st 2006

S&W Logistic-Equipment has introduced the Adjustable Lowering Stop (ALS) for forklift trucks that prevents wear of forks and other attachments.

Wear of tyres and loadinduced elongation of the mast-chain lead to the forks dragging along the floor, resulting in heavy wear. By retrofitting the mast with the Adjustable Lowering Stop, the forks can be easily and flexibly prevented from touching the ground in upright lowered position.

Unnecessary maintenance costs are eliminated.

ALS can be mounted to standard, Duplex or Triplex masts. With Duplex and Triplex masts the lowering stop is mounted to the middle cylinder. With standard masts both cylinders need to be fitted with the ALS.
