Motive Power are designed
to refresh battery charge
while trucks are parked
during drivers' short rest
breaks to minimise battery
handling and maximise truck
working time.
The LifeSpeed 3000 series
is a new high-speed
charging concept that allows
batteries to be recharged
while in situ on the trucks to
make the most of
opportunity charging during
shift working for up to six
days in any week. Truck
drivers park up during rest
periods and other breaks and
plug the truck battery into
LifeSpeed chargers. Fast HF
charging tops up the charge
in a few minutes with
maximum charge achieved
in between two and four
hours, depending on
conditions of use and depth
