Chargers get five year warranty as standard
August 1st 2009 Exide Technologies has
introduced a standard
five year warranty on its
SP high frequency
chargers.
Investment in the
energy efficient SP range
of chargers can show
significant cost benefits
over a 5 year period,
claims Exide. The SP high
frequency chargers are
about 1/10th the size of
an equivalent
conventional charger,
freeing up valuable
space.
Exide Technologies is
said to be the only manufacturer
to make batteries
and matched chargers.
Nigel Harris, product
support manager, says:
"Not only can our HP
chargers charge a wider
range of batteries than
comparable standard
chargers, the matching
means that the battery is
charged optimally – one
of the most important
aspects affecting service
