Every drop of power helps
August 1st 2009

Exide Technologies (CMP Batteries) recently received a 'Values Award' from Tesco for their assistance in helping keep operations running as smoothly as possible over the very busy Christmas period. This was achieved by carrying out surveys in an effort to identify any potential problems in advance to make sure everything continued to run at an optimum level. The surveys were conducted throughout Tesco's National Distribution Centres.

"Exide Technologies really helped us through the traditionally busy run up to Christmas by ensuring the batteries, chargers and battery transfer equipment continued to run smoothly.

This enabled us to achieve maximum uptime from our fleet," said James Fenton, UK maintenance manager for Tesco. Fenton said of the award: 'No one tries harder for customers'.
