Exide powers up October 1st 2008 Exide Technologies (CMP
Batteries) has made two
new appointments to
strengthen its service to
customers. Richard Jones
(pictured, below) has been
appointed as senior key
account manager and Jon
Wells (pictured, right) takes
up the role of technical
projects manager. Both will
be based at Exide
Technologies' traction
battery manufacturing plant
at Over Hulton, Bolton.
Richard Jones has many
years' experience within
Industrial Sales – having
spent the last 16 years as a
key account manager for
Henkel Loctite – working
extensively with the MoD,
the railway sector and
nationalised industries – all
sectors that will be relevant
to Exide. Richard will be
working on key accounts,
particularly with OEMs.
Jon Wells has worked for
one of Exide's customers for
the last seven years – at
Norco. His knowledge of the
battery industry will be
invaluable as he works in a
management role helping
major customers to develop
large materials handling
power projects –
particularly battery
changing systems as used in
major warehouse
operations for the likes of
Tesco and Sainsburys. More articles from GNB Industrial Power: |
