Five year warranty as standard

introduced a standard five
year warranty on its SP high
frequency chargers.
Investment in the energy
efficient SP range of
chargers can show
significant cost benefits over
a five year period, claims
Exide. The SP high
frequency chargers are
about 1/10th the size of an
equivalent conventional
charger, freeing up valuable
space.
Exide Technologies is
reported to be the only
manufacturer to make
batteries and matched
chargers.
"We are fortunate in the
UK in having both batteries
and chargers locally
produced," says Nigel Harris,
product support manager.
"Not only can our HP
chargers charge a wider
range of batteries than
comparable standard
chargers, the matching
means that the battery is
charged optimally – one of
