No maintenance, more work

is getting more work out of
its trucks thanks to EnerSys
Hawker Motive Power
batteries and HF chargers at
its NDC in Coventry.
The sealed gel batteries
are maintenance free, and
combined with intelligent HF
chargers linked to an ITdriven
battery management
system, are enabling Co-op
Retail Logistics to extract
more than 20 per cent more
work out of the truck
batteries than would have
been possible with
conventional systems.
"The package makes a vital
contribution to the NDC's
productivity," says warehouse
