Powering ahead with acquisition

Powercell has expanded and strengthened its UK operation with the acquisition of the longestablished Pb Batteries. The company's specialist market customer base complements Powercell's existing business.

The companies have traded together for many years, so the acquisition and merger of the business was seamless and trouble-free.

As well as expanding Powercell's customer base, Pb Batteries' service team has strengthened its service and support structure.

David Millin, ex Pb Batteries, brings to Powercell his extensive technical and industry knowledge and will be making sure that its customer base continues to be supported.

With strengthened service and sales teams, the Powercell is expanding and developing the services offered to its growing customer base.

The company believes that its independent status gives it an advantage over some other industry suppliers and says its products can be tailored to customers' needs.

Powercell comments that the ability to offer a high quality service with full support packages is paramount if a company is to thrive and develop, and points out that this is even more important today due to the current market pressures being exerted on everyone.
