First electric Improved hand li Aisle-Masters in the UK
February 1st 2006 Kitchen provider, Magnet, has taken delivery of electric Aisle-Master articulated forklifts, two for its Keighley Magnet Joinery facility and one for the Kitchens Division in Darlington. These are the first electric models to go into operation in the UK since Aisle-Master added this power option to its range.
The footprint of the Keighley site has been reduced, leaving the challenge of maintaining output volume while operating in less than half the previous space available. The Aisle-Master was recommended as a superior solution to the previous combination of sideloaders and counterbalance trucks.
Highly flexible in confined spaces, the Aisle Master is also fitted with cushion tyres and can easily offload and load deliveries outside. This means Magnet benefits from streamlined truck to rack operation with no double handling.
