Improved productivity and efficiency

The ability to provide Wyvern Cargo with improved productivity and efficiency at the company’s 3-acre site in Poole has resulted in new business for Locators, the regional distributor of Toyota Industrial Equipment. Wyvern Cargo has recently placed an order for two Toyota 7FMFB AC powered, fourwheel electric counterbalance trucks to augment two Bendi VNA trucks delivered by Locators last year.

When an existing contract on two diesel trucks came up for renewal, Wyvern Cargo decided to replace them with electric models on environmental grounds and to create a better working atmosphere for its warehouse staff.

The 2t and 2.5t Generation 7 Toyota forklifts will be used extensively both inside and out for loading and unloading goods.

Locators have supplied the trucks with full weather protection on a five-year full maintenance contract with regular servicing being carried out by Locators’ skilled team of mobile engineers.

The Generation 7 trucks feature Toyota’s technically advanced System of Active Stability (SAS) as standard.
