Inspired choice
August 1st 2007

Packaging company Inspirepac has made Toyota forklifts its exclusive supplier.

Inspirepac handles around 7,000 pallets of goods each week, meaning reliability is essential to the materials handling operation. The company's Wetherby site uses seven gas powered counterbalanced forklifts (7FGF15s and 7FGF25s) and one electric forklift from the Traigo range.

As raw materials arrive on site, the gas powered trucks are used to offload them from trucks and load them onto print machines. The trucks are also used to offload wrapped packaging for loading onto wagons for distribution or to be put into stock. The Traigo is used to handle bales of waste cardboard which are then sent away for recycling. The trucks have been customised with attachments to enable faster and more effective handling in each application.
