Keeping trucks working round the clock
April 1st 2007

When BMI Hospital Supplies was looking to replace its existing service and maintenance package it turned to BT Rolatruc for a solution.

Due to the nature of BMI Healthcare's business, its warehouse has to work to a next-day delivery which means that BMI cannot afford to experience unnecessary downtime.

BT was approached by BMI in 2001. Despite BMI not having any of the BT product range, BT Rolatruc quickly took over the service and maintenance agreement.

"As soon as BT took over the service agreement we never had to worry about losing time due to breakdown," says John Groves, at BMI." Thanks to this success BMI turned to BT Rolatruc once again when it was looking to renew its truck agreements.

BMI's requirements were specific - it needed a solution that could work quickly and efficiently within its compact warehouse, minimise manual effort and maximise output.

BT Rolatruc recommended a Three Wheel Compact Counterbalance, and a Compact Electric Pallet Truck.

As a result of implementing the two BT products. BMI now benefits from a safer working environment, productivity has increased.

and the physical effort required has been greatly reduced
