Multi-purpose solution
October 1st 2004

A Flexi Generation 3 articulated lift truck from Narrow Aisle is providing a cost effective multipurpose warehouse solution for International Radiator Services (IRS).

Items at IRS’ manufacturing facility are stored in freestanding racking, as well as a VNA area. The Flexi operates in both sections and is also used for loading/unloading delivery vehicles.

The Flexi is able to offer this level of versatility thanks to its articulated design, which allows it to work in aisles as narrow as 1750mm. This feature alone can deliver an improvement in storage density of over 30% compared with a reach truck.
