New high-spec cushion tyred forklift series
April 1st 2006

With its latest launch, the new FGC N 2 to 3t counterbalance series, Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks is reported to have combined the power and flexibility of a state-of-the-art LPG engine with a high specification and the added advantage of cushion tyres. The result, says the company, is an unbeatable blend of performance, economy, ergonomics and safety.

Clear all-round vision is facilitated by the highvisibility mast, fork carriage and head guard. Other safety rich features include, as standard, a seat switch that prevents all movement (of the forks and the truck) if the driver is not securely seated as well as warning indicators to encourage proper use of the seatbelt and parking brake.

Sophisticated engine management and a regulated catalytic converter delivers high output with low emissions and low fuel consumption. Noise levels have also been lowered, enhancing operator comfort.

The cushion tyres provide high levels of traction on smooth surfaces, low rolling resistance, reduced energy consumption, better stability and greater residual capacities at high lifts. They also help to minimise truck dimensions for greater manoeuvrability in tight spaces.

As well as a comprehensive range of standard features, the FGC20-30N has optional extras that include an integral side shifter, extra working lights, revolving lamps, a high-exit exhaust and dual front wheels.

A long service interval of 500 hours adds to reduced maintenance costs and downtime.
