One truck does the work of two
December 1st 2004 Baxters Food Group keeps its production lines moving like clockwork with the help of a fleet of materials handling equipment from Toyota. With around 400 cans a minute coming off the finishing line, an efficient, reliable fleet is essential.
Having conducted an on-site survey of Baxters handling needs, Toyota recommended that a 7BRE reach truck could do the same as two trucks had done previously at the end of one of the busiest production lines.
In addition to the 7FBRE reach trucks, the fleet includes twenty 7PM19 powered pallet movers, three 7SM12 stackers, as well as sixteen 7FB25 and 7FGF25 counterbalance trucks. More articles from Toyota Material Handling (UK) Ltd: |
