Safety, reliability and serviceability improved
October 1st 2004

Samuk Lift Trucks has announced the introduction of an improved version of its 4.0, 4.5 and 5.0 tonnes at 500mm load centre capacity Clark/Samuk models

In addition to new overall styling similar to the companys GEN2 machines, the new trucks incorporate numerous technical revisions designed to improve overall safety, reliability and serviceability.

Laden stability on tip has been improved through a combination of additional weight and a lower centre of gravity.

The transmission now runs cooler thanks to increased oil flow in the torque converter. This makes the trucks suitable for arduous applications, regardless of ambient temperatures. Also, a switch to a larger Bosch high performance starter motor has been made in order to improve cold starting and increase life expectancy under normal conditions.
