Samuk sees heavy demand rise February 1st 2011 The UK arm of Chinese lift truck giant Hangcha is targeting heavy business as the UK
sees manufacturing industry blossom
Following Samuk's participation at last year's IMHX show,
the company's dealers are reporting growing interest in its
range of medium and heavy duty fork
trucks. In particular, potential customers
are increasingly enquiring about reliable
trucks for use in non-standard applications.
Samuk's chairman, Sir Neville Bowman-
Shaw says: "Our network of local UK dealers
are receiving increased enquiry volumes
as our reputation develops. As our
UK success continues, we shall also
shortly begin importing trucks
offering capacities up to 30 tonnes."
Samuk trucks offer lifting
capacities from five to 12
tonnes at 600mm load
centre. These units all feature twin drive wheels and may also be
specified complete with heavy duty masts which can be derated
to 1200mm load centre for lorry loading from one side plus safe
and fast empty container handling with lift heights up to 6.5
metres.
Eight and 12 tonnes capacity trucks fitted with very heavy
duty masts can be derated at 1200mm load centres or
more to provide reduced capacities from three to eight
tonnes thereby making them ideal for handling 3000mm
wide site offices or large and heavy fabrications. The heavy
masts incorporate large side thrust rollers to
enable handling with large clamps and rotators
in many demanding applications and
environments. Samuk trucks are able to
handle and stack empty containers up to seven
high with basic truck capacities ranging from
10 to 16 tonne at 1200mm load centres.
Available masts range from three metres for 2-high
stacking up to 6.5 metres for 7-
high stacking. More articles from Samuk Lift Trucks Limited: |
