Toyota selected as single supplier
April 1st 2004 Rapidly expanding builders merchant, Buildbase, has appointed Toyota Industrial Equipment as its preferred materials handling equipment supplier.
Trading across 85 branches, the Buildbase fleet is made up of many different makes and models, of varying ages. As Toyota has a long-standing relationship with Buildbase and has supplied trucks that have continuously performed well, it was the obvious choice when it came to selecting a single supplier.
Over 30 Toyota forklifts now operate within the group. The Generation 7 fleet is fitted with triple masts, liveried in Buildbases corporate colours and many have been supplied with brick forks that are slightly thicker and narrower than normal.
