Versatile customised truck

B and B Timber is enjoying greater uptime and efficiency thanks to a customised forklift from Second City Lift Truck. The rebuilt New Hunslet 4t, electric side loader features a sit-down wide cab and carefully adjusted dimensions that fit exactly the very narrow aisles at the companys warehouse.

As well as installing the ideal mast in this case a 5750mm triplex we can alter bed length, fork length and chassis width to meet most customers needs, says Second City MD, Andrew Davis.

For the role at B and B the truck is easily capable of handling 2.6t to 5.75m. Its a very versatile model, able to manoeuvre in tight spaces, and manipulate loads in four directions.
