AC power is part of the PAC
February 1st 2008

With the addition of AC power and new-generation electronics, Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has upgraded the productivity of its ultra-compact, 24 volt, three wheel, FBKRT electric counterbalance series.

Renamed as the FBKRT PAC series, these 1.0, 1.25 and 1.5 tonne capacity trucks now offer more power.

The FBKRT PAC has been described by Mitsubishi as a 'crossover' product between the counterbalance and warehouse sectors. Its chassis is narrow enough – less than a metre – to fit easily through narrow aisles.

Meanwhile, its low height – 2015 mm – allows the truck to be used in drive-in racking, containers and other workplaces with limited overhead clearance.

It will turn circles within its own dimensions, and its hydrostatic power steering – driven by the hydraulic system – allows precise and effortless positioning.

Operation is smooth, quiet and controlled, as you would expect when using AC motors – and those same motors have boosted acceleration and gradeability to higher levels.
