Big truck benefits at MultiModal March 1st 2011 Recent re-launch to be showcased
Barloworld Handling will be demonstrating ways of
achieving fuel savings of more than 15% with the latest
Hyster material handling equipment, on stand 231 at the
Multimodal 2011 Exhibition at the NEC in April.
Hall 4 at the NEC in Birmingham will play host to
Multimodal 2011 (April 5-7), where alongside the latest "Big
Truck" innovations Barloworld will present the complete range
of port centric solutions it provides for ports and terminal
operations across the UK.
"We have a new range of Hyster equipment that provides
minimum fuel savings of 15%," says Mike Parkin, ports and
terminals sales manager for Barloworld Handling, which is the
exclusive UK distribution partner for Hyster. "And with a
complete solution, from energy efficient warehouse trucks to
container handling equipment and advanced fleet management
tools, we can show companies the long term savings that Hyster
equipment, in combination with Barloworld Handling's
intelligent service, can offer."
At the end of 2010, Hyster re-launched its entire Big Truck
range above 16 tonnes, with new Cummins engines using EGR
technology and other energy saving technology, making the
machines compliant with the latest Tier 4 interim, Stage IIIB
emissions legislation. Barloworld will also be showing the new
award winning tyre saving axle from Hyster, which reduces tyre
wear by as much as a factor of 3 on the 5-8 high empty container
handler.
Barloworld Handling provides the full range of dependable
