Buying British October 1st 2009 Farm and country products retailer,
CWG collects and grades in excess of
1.75 million kilos of wool each year.
To assist with this, the CWG's wool
department has obtained additional
storage facilities and taken delivery
of two British made lift trucks; the
JCB TLT30D Teletruk made in
Staffordshire and the Yale ERP20VT
Electric 3-Wheeled Counterbalanced
Forklift built in Cragave, Northern
Ireland. The trucks were supplied by
Watling JCB.
The JCB Teletruk is fitted with a
Cam Bale Clamp and is used to
unload/handle the wool prior to
grading. The forward reach of the
Teletruk provides flexibility when
unloading/storing the wool prior to
grading and allows the clamp to
easily be changed for side shift and
forks in less than three minutes for
other handling duties on the site. More articles from JCB Sales Ltd: |
