Clean sweep for windsor at cepac
October 1st 2009 Won in competition against some leading manufacturers,Windsor Komatsu and Access recently secured a 3 year contract to supply Cepac with 12 pieces of materials handling and cleaning equipment.
The units at the corrugated packaging plant are: one Komatsu AX50 FG18, five Komatsu BX50 FG20, one Komatsu BX50 FG30, one Still RX70-30, two 7t compact gas counterbalance forklift trucks, one Lincoln Alto scrubber drier and one Lincoln Alto sweeper.
After initial consultation and a site survey it was deemed that Komatsu FG20s fitted with transmission protection, speed limiters and cabs were appropriate for the finished product area. The use of cabs has enabled a reduction in heating bills. The compact AX50 FG18 was selected to work in the more restricted areas of the warehouse, while the Still RX70 was chosen for its regenerative braking system, which ensures safety when working on small inclines.
